We designed the Even Mix™ 55 gallon drum mixer to provide an even mix of material through any drum.  The Even Mix™ can be deployed in a variety of ways:

  1. Closed Head Drum - Inserted through a 2" Bung Opening - Air Drum Mixer or Electric Drum Mixer
  2. Open Head Drum - Mounted on a Lid through the Center Bung - Air Lid Mixer or Electric Drum Mixer
  3. Mixer Only - Mounted on a Lid through the Center Bung - Anti-Contamination Mixer

Drum Mixer in a 55 Gallon Drum with an Air Drive

The Even Mix™ System includes a broad range of usages including powders, liquids, slurries, or viscous materials. We manufacture a number of drum mixers for various uses. We can include our mixers in BOTH Steel and Plastic Drums as long as they have a steel lid with a center bung.  They can also be used an any drum as long as the internal diameter is at least 18".

Power Drive & Mixer Design

The Even Mix™ drum mixer with our  Air Motor or Electric Motor, has the power to mix even the thickest liquids as well as a wide range of products up to 50,000 cps, as thick as peanut butter.  Strategically placed mixing blades create both vertical and horizontal flow patterns resulting in superior mixing performance, as demonstrated in a range of rigorous, industry tests.

Drum Size

Even Mix™ offers drum mixers that are designed to work in 1 gallon to 55 gallon drums. These barrel mixers can be used to agitate low to high viscous material. The Even Mix™ drum mixer is ideal for laboratory or industry use, plastic pails, drums or barrels, 55 gallon drums, totes, IBCs and custom built mixing vessels.  Our mixing blades can fit inside an open as small as 2" or as large as you have (with mounting accessories).

Drum Mixer - Closed Head Drum

We have developed a groundbreaking innovation with our Closed Head Drum Mixer.  We can get a 15" Folding Blade to fit through a 2" Bung Opening in a Closed Head Lid.  We include a Mounting Bracket that holds the Air or Electric Motor at the correct angle to drive the folding mixing blade to operate at the center of the Drum.  See below for a video of the Drum Mixer in action and a Matrix Comparing Even Mix™ to the Competition.  Call if you have questions.  We designed it to fix common issues in the market.

Drum Mixing - Open Head Drum

The Even Mix™ Open Head Drum Mixer allows the mixer to have folding or fixed blades.  Either configuration is able to withstand 800 inch pounds of force.  Operating the Even Mix™ with an Open Head Drum allows you to easily make additions to the liquid and remove mixed liquids from the drum.

Mixing Blade Only - Open Head Drum

The Even Mix™ Anti-Contamination Mixer enables you to use the mixing blade and Air or Electric Drive separately.  You can use several different mixing blades (mounting in separate lids) and drive them with a single motor.  The Anti-Contamination Mixer has a Nylon fitting that allows it to function independently of the Air or Electric Drive.  To engage the Drive to the Blades you simple have to screw it onto the Nylon Fitting.  The Drive and the Blade will become engaged.

Mixing Blade - Pinless Mixing (Installed at the Drum Manufacturer)

The Even Mix™ Pinless Mixer has proven to have superior mixing performance in any type of drum without using a pin.  It's breaking new ground for the drum industry!  It can even be used with a drum liner in the 55 gallon drum.
  • Improved Mixing Performance - Even Mix™ drum mixer is designed to provide an even mix of even the heaviest materials throughout a drum. In repeated tests, it distributed sand to the same grain count in all quadrants of a 55 gallon drum. It is powder coated to provide complete coverage of the mixing blade and enhanced rust protection.
