CLAMP MOUNT MIXER

Built Tough

Designed and built tough in the USA. We designed our mixing systems and make them in Cleveland. With the help of a NASA engineer, we have been able to perfect our systems to make them the best they can be. We pride ourselves in the durability and power of our mixers.

Low Weight

Our high-quality engineering has our air powered mixer at 9 pounds and our electric powered mixer at 12 pounds. Most mixers on the market weigh between 25 and 100 pounds. Make it easier on your employees and avoid safety issues!

3D Mixing

We asked paint, chemical, agriculture, food, and industrial companies for issues with mixing. They had a lot! Our Engineers solved the problems and designed the EvenMix® Blade. It was good enough to be patented. It mixes in 3D, unlike anything else.

Clamp Mount Mixer Design

The EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixer is specially designed to be portable and lightweight, making it easy to mix your content. We designed it to be easy to handle while continuing to provide you with significant power.

The EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixing system is capable of creating what we like to call a 3D mix. Thanks to our patented EvenMix® blades with a variable pitch, your mixtures will flow consistently.

The clamp adjusts to fit onto the walls of mixing drums and secures tightly. This mixer can be used to easily make additions to your mixer, making it versatile and dependable.

EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixers

Yes, It IS Rocket Science!

"The mixing blades work better than anything that we could find – and we’ve tried several!"

Frequently Asked Questions about Clamp Mount Mixers

What is a clamp mount mixer?

A clamp mount mixer attaches directly to the side of an open-top container. It provides portable mixing for tanks, pails, vats, drums, and process vessels.

How does an EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixer attach to a container?

The mixer uses a footed C-clamp with three points of contact that securely grip the sidewall of the container. This design provides stability while allowing the mixer to be repositioned as needed.

Why can the EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixer be angled?

The adjustable mounting system allows the mixer to be positioned at 15°, 25°, or 35°. Different angles help optimize circulation patterns for different containers and applications.

What makes EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixers different?

EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixers use a footed C-clamp with three points of contact that securely mounts to the sidewall of an open container. The mixer can be adjusted to 15°, 25°, or 35° while using patented mixed-flow blades that create both vertical and horizontal circulation.

When should I use a clamp mount mixer?

Clamp mount mixers are ideal when operators need access to the product during mixing. They are also useful when one mixer will be shared across multiple containers.

Can I add ingredients while mixing?

Yes. Clamp mount mixers allow liquids, powders, and additives to be added during operation.

What containers can a clamp mount mixer be used on?

Clamp mount mixers can be used on tanks, vats, pails, drums, and other open process vessels.

What industries use clamp mount mixers?

Clamp mount mixers are commonly used in chemical manufacturing, water treatment, coatings, adhesives, laboratory applications, and food production.

Can a clamp mount mixer suspend solids?

Yes. Proper circulation helps keep solids suspended throughout the mixing process.

How do I choose the right clamp mount mixer?

Container size, viscosity, solids content, and mixing objectives should all be considered when selecting a mixer.

Can a clamp mount mixer be moved between containers?

Yes. Portable clamp mount mixers can be quickly relocated between vessels.

Can Clamp Mount Mixers handle thicker materials?

Yes. A single set of EvenMix® blades is typically sufficient for liquids up to approximately 4,000 cPs, depending on the container size and application. For materials above 4,000 cPs or when shorter mixing cycle times are desired, two or more blade sets are often recommended.

Do I need one set of blades or multiple sets of blades for a Clamp Mount Mixer?

A single blade set is commonly used for lower-viscosity liquids and general mixing applications up to approximately 4,000 cPs. Multiple blade sets are often selected for higher-viscosity materials, larger containers, or applications where faster mixing is required.

What viscosity can an EvenMix® Clamp Mount Mixer handle?

Viscosity capability depends on the blade configuration, container geometry, and product characteristics. Single blade sets are typically used up to approximately 4,000 cPs, while multiple blade sets are commonly used for higher-viscosity applications.

What is mixed-flow mixing?

Mixed-flow mixing combines axial and radial fluid movement to improve circulation throughout the vessel.

Why choose a lightweight mixer?

Lightweight mixers are easier to install, operate, and relocate while reducing strain on operators.

How do clamp mount mixers improve efficiency?

Portable mixers increase equipment utilization by allowing one mixer to support multiple processes and containers.

What is the difference between a clamp mount mixer and a tank mixer?

Clamp mount mixers prioritize portability and flexibility. Tank mixers are typically dedicated to larger fixed installations.

What is the difference between a propeller mixer and a mixed-flow mixer?

Traditional propeller mixers primarily move liquid in one direction. Mixed-flow mixers create circulation throughout the vessel for more uniform mixing.
